Well, our baby girl has arrived. Addysn Marie Ward was born 6 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. She arrived after 15 hours of labor, at 8:17 PM on her Mommy's birthday, Monday May 4th. (It was about that time that she captured her Daddy's heart forever.) Misty was induced at 5:00 AM that morning. She started feeling having contractions about 15 minutes after the first dose of medication and they stayed pretty steady every 2-3 mins. At about 12:30 Misty decided she did not want to brave it anymore and asked for her first dose of pain meds. That dose worked for about an hour and then wore off. At about 3:00 in the afternoon Misty decided she wanted an epidural. The epidural was wonderful. Misty slept off and on for a couple of hours. Addysn was delivered by her Daddy and Dr. Paul Beckett. Both Addy and Mom are healthy and recovering nicely. They are expected to be coming home sometime Wednesday evening.
